Rewatched this since the debut of Show Girl, and feel more strongly than ever that this album was a masterpiece. Her writing is rich and layered. Not to mention the lore.

It's just crazy how we didn't even consider that Matty was the second chairman of the Department. He definetely considers himself to be a tortured poet, and Taylor seems tp do so too. Like, most of the record is about him, which is a complete 180 from what we expected
