The whole “Broly being motivated to kill Goku because he cried as in infant”, thing sounds like a plot point that TFS would add for more comedy; and the fact that it’s not is one of the best things about this story.

Honestly, chi chi should have boasted her son can literally bench press the planet at age 9 and her husband was declared the strongest man in the planet after a tournament, like that would be an instant athletic scholarship
