Question: is it somehow just illegal to even acknowledge the rest of the field? I watched the race, brilliant racing for the lead in much of the race. The last laps were terrific, I'm glad for Palou. But, then I watched for over 25 minutes and not once did anyone mention a car other than first or second place. Finally Chris Mathews mentioned the top five places. But they never even showed the sidebar during that whole time. Nor did they ever mention that last lap crash, it looked like a rough one...but never mentioned it! It's not just FOX, when NBC did the Indy 500 broadcast it was just as insane. C'mon people...give us a run down of the results...is it a sport or not??

FOX: Who brought out the Caution at the checkered flagβ¦brief pan to accident but zero commentary regarding same. Camera views of empty track at times. Behind the Eight Ball on every incident. Really a poor effort on this one.

Agree worst failure of broadcast, no report on last lap wreck and where was the rundown of the unofficial finishers? Need to go back to broadcast school 101

MAYBE show the final results of the race in the highlights, and if you really want to go all out, show the Borg-Warner Trophy being awarded.
