I would choose Hina, but can i say Taiki also should've chose hina? No, because that is not mine nor anyone else's choice but his alone, my man is happy and there is nothing wrong with that

honestly before reading blue box, i hated love triangles, but after reading it, love triangles can be so good if executed well, I was obviously always rooting for Chinatsu but honestly I wouldn't have minded it at all if Hina ended up with Taiki, that's good character writing.

If i was Taiki, Yes, i would choose Hina. But am i saying that taiki (from the show) should do the same? Nah, he happy wit chinatsu and he kinda worked hard to get along and get closer to her, unlike some anime's where the girl likes the dude out of nowhere without any proper development, taike decided to develop a closer bond to chinatsu so i'd say, he deserves her fr

Blue Box is one of those series where you either love it or hate it. Which is exactly what I'm feeling cos on the one hand, I love the characters and their interaction with each other, but at the same time I get frustrated by Taiki's constant mishandling of situations when it comes to him and Chinatsu. Oh and now with Hina in the mix it might become more frustrating to watch since love triangles never end well.

3:03 from what I gathered from the show the block is them living together, because he wants the best for her and doesn’t want things to be so weird she moves away and gives up on her dream.

what i hate the most is that people saying chinatsu doesnt deserves taiki and hina does like bro even if hina deserves taiki, taiki doesnot deserves hina coz he is already in love with chinatsu the whole hina v/s chinatsu bs just pisses me off

I have been reading blue box since the first chapter came out, I felt the exact same thing when the end of the chapter revealed they would be living together. But as the story went on, (and if you watch the most recent episode, you’ll see this) it not only points out the fact of how absurd these two not getting together because of there circumstance is illogical, but actually uses it to test how the characters feel for each other in a unique way. When apart, they both realize how much they’ve been taking for granted the circumstance they are in and actually want to spend more time together.

What i like about blue box is the way the love triangle is handled. Its not like in my teen romantic comedy or so many others where the mc likes both and has to choose between two girls. Instead he follows his heart, he only has feelings for one and doesnt even consider the other, it feels a lot more realistic and he doesnt lead them on

I know it’s probably just an exaggeration but it’s an overstatement to say that female characters in harem anime fall for the MC for no reason because they do—the problem is that the trigger is often just a single episode of the MC helping the female character at a time of emotional distress and/or the female character is practically removed of their agency and sense of self because they’ve been reduced as a romantic interest with not much of a life outside of the MC. The former is also an issue with many shoujo manga where the FeMC becomes head over heels for the guy in a single meeting, or worse, a toxic, abusive guy but “can be fixed”. The effect of the former situation is making it seem as though it only takes a single event of “saving” the girl when in reality it’s not that grandeur and (romantic) love is not a reward or necessary consequence of helping someone. It reduces a character into a damsel in distress, and it’s why we often see an archetype in MCs where they’re almost always selfless and we have no idea why. This becomes more glaring when some MCs barely have monologue of their own for us to understand their psyche. The problem is really that it feels superficial when we don’t know much about the Fe/MC and the romantic interests outside of each other.
