TIP: ALWAYS check expiration dates when you shop anywhere. I was in Walmart recently and found frozen sausage patties (30 patties per pack) that had expired two months before i was shopping that day. Expired foods also stops me from letting other people do my shopping for me.

The bags we get at grocery stores are NOT a single use for me. I give some to my sister who uses them. I use them as trash bags in the car and truck. Also I use them in other locations in the house for trash. I use them in the garden. I use them in the laundry area. I use ALL grocery bags at least twice (unless torn) and sometimes more.

Walmarts main problem is their self checkouts!!! Theft is up because of this issue!! There is always going to be people who shoplift period, however, the self checkouts are making it so much easier for customers to do this. I no longer grocery shop in Walmart. I do a weekly online order and have it delivered. Was a game changer for me!! This way of grocery shopping has helped me to stick to my list and my budget without being tempted with impulse purchases!! And I have never had a problem with outdated food or merchandise. Bring back the regular check outs where an employees does the work, not the customer. If Walmart wants us to check ourselves out, give us a 20% discount on our order!!!!

“Control the food, control the people.” If we all started being more self sufficient we would potentially put Walmart out of business!

If Walmart would have gone after all those shoplifters and pressed charges against them, Walmart wouldn't have so many shoplifters!

Went into Walmart the other day for a few groceries and stuff. Had 3 coupons. Only cashier working was an elderly man who was so slow we couldn't take it and went to a self checkout lane. Didn't know we weren't supposed to drop coupons over $5 in the slot so we had to wait. Young guy comes over and tells us we shouldn't have did that.He had to call someone to open the coupon door so we had to wait for her. Neither one of them could do anything beyond that. He moved our transaction to another register and had to call a manager. Had to wait another 10 minutes for a manager. Absolutely ridiculous. Open some registers!!

Walmart needs to open their checkouts again instead of the self checkouts. Besides all the theft thru these lines, many many people are fed up with having to do the work of checking out after shopping for a long time. PLEASE open up the cashiers’ lines!

I hate that, every time I find something I like in the grocery section it's almost a guarantee that they'll stop carrying it within 6 months.

I think what they are really moving towards is not having people who actually shop in the stores. They want everything online.
