CapCut went down for about 27 hours. Likely because of the storm (out of their control). But what’s in their control is communication. Not one post. Not one tweet. Nothing. I just wanted to hear something like “yo.. we are sorry and we are working on it.” And I would have stuck around as a customer.
It’s back up and they made a few changes. You can’t extract audio without being a premium user. That’s a very basic editing function and that tells me they are just being greedy. Then I saw they raised the price for premium from $100/yr to $180/yr! Could you imagine if one of your bills went up 80% in one year…
anyway, I guess I needed to vent somewhere. Video up later today.

I finished editing my video last night and went to export, but it looks like CapCut is still down. It said it needed to update so I just went to sleep and figured it would work in the am… wrong. I’ve had problems with CapCut in the past (glitches would happen and I would have to redo some of my work 1-2hrs). Been thinking switching.. premiere here I come?
Hopefully it’s back up soon. Sorry for the delay. I worked hard on this one. #capcutdown 😭

What Youtubers don't tell you is that they rarely have bad buys because as a Youtuber the cost of their inventory is often covered by being monetized or selling to their viewers.
