Earthquake hits southern Iran
Iran’s state news agency IRNA is reporting that a 4.1-magnitude earthquake has struck southern Iran.
The quake hit at 6:48pm (15:28 GMT) near Bandar-e Maqam in Hormozgan province, close to the border with Fars province.

Well that was disturbing, takes a lot to shock me, but, to see a group of police pulling a women’s close of and then have the audacity to say “no no, don’t fight, why are you fighting” that is shockingly disturbing.

In our Somali society Women is not just protected by the law but they are also protected by her clan. If you undress Somali woman like that her whole clan will take arms against you.

Men want to blame the victim because it excuses their vile behavior. Some women join in because they want to believe that following certain rules will keep them safe. It won't. Today it's because she's wearing shorts, tomorrow it will be because she walked alone on a crowded street. As long as women are blamed for being assaulted, abusers will find a pretense for their heinous actions.
