WHAT DO YOU THINK OF LARRY LEGEND?

"Michael Jordan made you look slow. Larry Bird made you look stupid." --James Worthy

He was a great shooter, passer, assist maker, and called his shots......and made them. The best complete player of all time. The GOAT.

he doesn't just see two plays ahead, he knows what's about to happen because he makes it happen.

If you didn't catch what they said when his face hit the floor he fractured his cheekbone.
Larry was not only an elite passer, shooter and high IQ, but he was elite at rebounds and a good defender. When the Celtics were playing in the finals in (I think), 1981 he played two games where he pulled 21 rebounds.

Bird and Jordan. 1a and 1b most talented players ever.

Larry is still ahead of the times. His play will never be repeated. His tenacity and toughness will never and has never been repeated…not even close. If he played today he would destroy the league. The NBA would have to have a whole new psychological department to handle all of the mental breakdowns he would cause. No “safe” spaces back in the eighties. There was actual physical contact and a thing called defense.

The 2 greatest players I've ever seen were Bird and MJ still to this day. Thanks for the reaction ️

Double digit rebounds for career

Larry had the skill of being able to know exactly where every player was, where the ball was, was like he had eyes all over the place. He may not have been the most athletic (which he was) but he was strong playing the game with his mind, not just his body. On a side note, YouTube has gotten ridiculous with their ads, I thought it was just me that there were more than there use to be....lol

2:24 He looks like the definition of a lesson.
