Same here! I always loved to watch the model trains inside.
audinos4827 (17 years ago)
The bell and the flash rate sound almost exactly like crossing gates in the Netherlands.
jliu1596 (15 years ago)
I've seen several train crossings with WRRS Mini bells. But this one is probably the fastest.

When I was a little kid I went to this hobby shop all the time. I used to always go and pick up coal on the tracks.

Ha! Reminds me of that great scene in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" when Richard Dreyfuss stops his truck at a railroad crossing at night to look at his map and the headlights behind him go straight up.
poppins2325 (16 years ago)
thats fantastic, good work
audinos4827 (14 years ago)
That flash rate is used in many countries and is much more attention-getting than the usual slower rate.
KatTheFoxtaur (15 years ago)
Oh so that's what this is! Then the crossing near me has a MiniBell too! =)
trainguy799 (14 years ago)
Whoa! Lights on steroids!! Lol
mafarnz (16 years ago)
That ding rate of the bell is normal, there is one of those mini bells on a railroad close to me, and it rings at that same rate.
we have this type of signal

Now it just needs the white/red-tipped St. Andrew's crossbuck and zebra paint on the mast.
robertgift (15 years ago)
Older (o)T(o) lights used to flash at a slowerate - about second each.
