In 2008 on Pi Day this building shielded thousands of lives from a passing tornado overhead. What’s even crazier is if an Alabama player hadn’t hit a buzzer-beating 3-point game-tying shot less than 5 minutes before the tornado, forcing overtime, hundreds or thousands of people would’ve been exposed on the street instead of safely inside the dome.

At least the Falcons last game in this dome was a win that took them to the Super Bowl (despite of course what happened after)

I miss the dome!
