Got some close ups of the eclipse, I didn’t have my telescope outside when it was completely covered, and by the time I did, alittle spot was shining so bright my phone couldn’t get a good picture, and my phone couldn’t really pick up the moon when completely shadowed, I probably could’ve focused the telescope 🔭 a bit better, but hey I tried lol, in case you missed it or didn’t see it, there was a lot of moisture in the air, and spaced looked watery through the telescope, condensation buildup on the 🔭 lens

if you see this post tho, you probably already saw the video already lol, but this is pretty cool, the steel walled mag and the steel casing prevented it from penetrating, you can see in the last photo that the casing being pushed from the force of the bullet, has imprinted themselves on the backside of the mag lol, maybe the 45 would of penetrated if the mag was empty? Or just cause more of a bulge?, it definitely wouldn’t go through double stacked mags tho

here’s my post ww2,German Zeltbahn 1958, I think that’s the same pattern you had in a old post of one of those pouches, I was just out messing around in the woods hiking and setting up a mini camp , I’m sure you can see me right away in the next photos, but I’m only a couple feet away, blends in pretty good tho have to admit that, repo German ww2 oakleaf smock autumn/winter side out, was out testing my A-frame “assault pack” set up, later on I’d like to do a ww2 style camping trip with the Zeltbahn, I need a couple more tho ,for a pup tent, oh p.s this isn’t historically accurate by any means, I’ll have a little video up of this little outing later today

SKS is an overlooked rifle. Always runs under all conditions. I will always recommend the factory mag set-up for this rifle. Loads fast with stripper clips, that's what it was made for.

SKS is the true best battle implement in my opinion. M1 Garands held their position until the SKS came around. I’m still a ten round traditionalist because of my shitty state laws, but this little rifle is enough for me.
