When I was a kid, this caterpillar was one of my worst nightmare. It'd hiss like a snake everytime the branch where it stayed was shook. There even was a myth that if it gets on you, the only way to remove it was to peel off your skin.

I've always picked these little fellas up growing up. I picked one up about a month ago and it lunged and hissed. I had never had that happen to me before. It scared me and I left that little guy alone.
