This is why I study 40+ hours a week in these rigorous science courses, I want to save lives when I become a surgeon. Almost done with college, next step medical school

I know their hospital bills are ridiculous

I was a patient at Mayo where this surgery occurred. It was the talk of the hospital and a great distraction for the patients from the pains we suffered. What a blessing that they were able to move on with life.

It's absolutely amazing how they were able to literally separate one body into two without causing any major harms. Science ladies and gentlemen, Science.

To look at another human being and say... you once held my own heart inside your very chest, then returned it to me safely.

I could never imagine how scary it must have been for the parents when they were in the surgery but also the relief they felt when it was successful. Im so happy for this family, and the girls connection is so cute. They have double the connection than twins born seperated :'). Made my day thannk the lord!! Subhanallah
