The realities of competing as an everyday athlete
Wanted to add some of the realities of competing in something like HYROX as an every day athlete on to my pictures because I feel like when we see the pictures alone we don’t really know what’s going on for people, their goals, what they went through and how they feel after. If you felt like I do after a competition I just want you to know it’s totally normal 💕

Another medal to add to the collection!
This was a 5k race I booked for December but it got postponed because of the storms. So I’ve been running well over that since. I think my last long run was 6.8km but it was nice to be able to finally do the race, and at my fastest pace yet!
I’m still a slow runner and I do find it hard not to be down on myself for being slow. But I now regularly run over 5 km and I run 3 times a week! That’s something to be really proud of. If you want to hear more about my running journey I talk all about it on my longer videos!

Also if you watch my videos you’ll already know I love this channel. Great watch. You don’t always have to train super hard to gain fitness and a mix might actually be better for sustainably and longevity. I still find it hard not to just train high intensity all the time though 😂

I cannot believe I didn’t know the sled weight is additional to the sled! I’m 8 weeks out! Pretty strong but I am deffo not currently prepped for an extra 45kg… thank you for sharing!
