The SA1 version feels like it is meant to drive in Sonic’s character traits and personality while the SA2 version feels like it is also trying to portray Sonic’s care free attitude. I think both are good but SA1 sounds better

Nothing wrong with SA2’s version, but SA1’s is just way better.

I always preferred SA2's "It Doesn't Matter" to SA1's.

SA2 sounds like a chill dude telling you his tales and adventures with a confident smile. Pretty much like Sonic.

It doesn't matter which version you like, both are still bangers!

SA1's version just has more soul. SA2's gets me pumped up, but SA1's inspires me to be a better person.

The fact that the vid cuts off the guitar riff at the end fills me with internal pain and grief.

For a song that literally says it doesn’t matter who is wrong and who is right, there sure is a lot of arguments and debates in the comments

I would like to see this done on Tails' theme song, "Believe in Myself."

SA1 music sounds like it was written by someone who didn't know how english is meant to flow, has weird pauses and hiccups in the way it's sung.

The comparison between these two versions of the song is almost the perfect microcosm of the comparison between the two games.

SA1 sounds super epic while SA2 sounds more carefree and fast paced
