The Hoof GP Just so we all know where we are (video time frames can be confusing) I’ve been out of hospital for almost 2 weeks now, the palm of my hand is still weeping constantly everyday, sometimes it looks like it’s starting to heal and it just bursts open again. The incision’s on both of my fingers have now fully healed up and are looking great … but they hurt a great deal and I’m not able to bend them anymore than about a quarter of an inch. I can’t use my hand in anyway yet because it hurts too much to move any of my fingers or even close my hand in any way - it just sitting here doing nothing with it, its throbbing constantly. I’m seeing a fantastic physical therapist who is giving me laser therapy to encourage healing and I’ve had a couple of companies reach out offering some strange looking machines to use! I don’t have my hand covered now because when I do the opening on my palm starts to fill with pus and sweat. I’m desperate for it to heal but also desperate to be back at work with the guys - I feel absolutely drained though, I look terrible and my whole body is run down. Anytime you’ve seen me in a video recently I’ve actually only been on the farm for around an hour or so. I’m only writing all of this because so many of you have asked and I wanted to be clear with where we are. I’m starting to get incredibly down about the whole situation to be honest and I feel like I’m sort of letting everyone down by not producing the same quality and amount of content that I usually do. Part of it is because I look and feel so terrible, my face has a bad rash which is flaking my skin because Ive been on so many antibiotics. I sincerely hope you’re all well and the beginning of 2026 has been great for you (2 weeks ago)

The Hoof GP Thank you to all of you who have purchased and read my book over the past year, it’s been incredible to read so many emails, reviews and messages about it from you all. I had no idea how it would be received, whether you’d love it, hate it or be indifferent about it. Reading through the reviews so many of you have left on Amazon honestly brings a bit of a tear to my eye. I certainly had no idea how big an impact it’s been able to have on so many peoples lives. Thank you for being you. Review- “5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic and touching story… Graeme weaves a tale that is almost unbelievable in the wildness of his life. He holds nothing back in his efforts to tell as complete a version of his life as possible, and that takes true courage! You’ll laugh, be shocked, and mourn with Graeme as you journey through his life and the events that have shaped who he is. A great read that’s hard to put down; it’s captivating!” You can still buy my book from thehoofgp.com or Amazon! (4 months ago)

The worst part about helping animals is that you can't just say "ay man, this is gonna hurt for a minute but it's to help" instead you feel bad the whole time because of their cries, but you know your helping them

I like how he tried to avoid the pain at first when he stepped outside. Then he noticed that the pain is gone and start to get more and more confident in walking.

I don't even know why this became recommended to me, but for some reason those Videos aren't feeling gross to me but oddly satisfying to watch. Like removing a Splinter.

This is gonna sound dumb, but honestly when I come on here and read these comments (or any comments on a channel I like) I feel like I have friends. I feel like part of a little group. It feels really good.

I find it so fascinating that there are people out there who can not only identify when a cow / bull is in pain but also how to care for them and fix the issue

Get you a “pin pointer” we use in metal detecting. It looks like a fat pen but it is used to locate lethal objects in tight spots or in low visibility.

Yet another genre I didn't know I was addicted to until YouTube saw fit to recommend it to me. Thanks YouTube!

I swear it's so satisfying. Seeing these creatures pain free is awesome.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea for you to invest in a hand held metal detector. So once you find something like that you can be sure there’s nothing lurking deep in the foot

You could see how bad he felt pulling that out after realizing how big it was. I’m so glad he caught it.

Imagine beauty parlour offering services with that kind of tools.

It is definitely not stupid that you are struggling. As a metal worker nails aren't made to be taken out. They are made to keep things together and stay in. That's why smart people when trying to take things apart cut where the nail is so they don't have to try and get the nail out. Since you can't just cut the hood off to get the nail out I can totally see why your u we uld struggle getting it out.
