I did something similar with a Key Lime pie here in central California, in the Sierra foothills. I had hardly left the frame when it was set upon by Blue Jays, and then some of the biggest Ravens I've ever seen. It caused quite the squabble. The next morning I went to check on the remains, picked up my $10 pie pan to return to Marie Calendar, and got chewed out by a handful of Ravens who evidently did not get their share.
