Wednesday I was sweeping the floor of the machine shop where I work when someone said a dead hummingbird was on the floor. I swept it into my dust bucket. But I thought I saw some movement so I pulled it out and held it in my right hand. It blinked. I began to pull off the cobwebs that had ended its flight. First I got its eyes free then started on one that wrapped it wings. As soon as it could move its wings it shot out of my hand and flew up to the ceiling. It was an event that lasted only moments but will be with me forever.

Today a hummingbird feeds one foot from where I sit in my backyard; my first experience, which I will never forget.

I’m here because I found a hummingbird nest in my back yard. The little eggs are the size of a tick-tac . I’m blessed to have this hummingbird and her new family in my back yard.

I have a hummingbird that built her nest on my patio right in front of my kitchen window, she laid two eggs and now they have hatched. It’s amazing to watch her and when she feeds her babies. Will be sad to see them go. I’m in love watching them ️️️

I was lucky to watch a tiny hummingbird build her nest here in Cozumel. She laid 2 eggs and they hatched. Beautiful birdies.

I have a friend that puts out feeders every day. He said they would fly around his head in anticipation for the food. They do recognize you.

I have a repeat hummingbird who builds her nest in our tree. She gave me a gentle reminder to put out the feeder by flying by the window a couple of times.

LOVE THEM!! Cutest birds I saw mostly in my friends house is in Texas where she used to prepare sweet water for the to drink since she did not have flowers. Instead I had a ton of flowers in my garden so they used to come to enjoy the nectar of my many flowers: absolutely the cutest bird together with the finches that I love just as much. Nature is the best gift that God gave to us all andrespecting every single of HIS creations is what I LOVE the most. Angela Umbria Italy :)

I used to get chewed out if the feeder near my front door was empty when I got home from work. To be dressed down by such a tiny creature is very humbling.

Most important fact not covered is that if you do not change the sugar water in your hummingbird feeder quite often, it ferments (especially in the Arizona sun) and poisons the humming birds.
