Description
I am Dr Ken Gillman and I am a retired psychiatrist (I call myself a ‘clinical neuro-pharmacologist’) and science researcher. I have been involved in pharmacology research from the beginning of my career and since my retirement from clinical medical practice (i.e. actually seeing patients), 12 years ago, I have devoted my time and effort to providing free information and advice about pharmacology and drugs via my website, which is called PsychoTropical. Recently I have had a bit of extra help in my continuing scientific publishing, and my website, and that has enabled me to branch out into doing more, using platforms like YouTube (weekly), Facebook, and Research gate.

As if explaining about how drugs affect the brain was not difficult enough of itself, the situation is made even more difficult because of the distorting influences (especially the influence of ‘big pharma’, as it is often called) affecting the whole of science; this confuses the information that people are presented w

Personal experience tells me endorphins play a considerate role in mitigating symptoms of depression, i got nothing what so ever from SSRIs, SNRIs i did get substantial relief from a A typical generically called Tianeptine both in its sulphate and sodium forms however because of "abuse potential" they seem to be overlooked however Mu receptor agonism strongly mitigates symptoms of low mood that is undeniable!

Thanks for your work Dr. We spoke last week. I had only heard about this stuff last week. I have a good dr who was more than happy to prescribe Phenelzine Sulphate; luckily; he even commended me on being proactive (he is very aware of issues with drug companies/ PBS etc... But, it's true, I am a bit worried to find that i can only find 1 bottle of 60 15mg tablets in Sydney. A company is making them, but they are out of stock for a few weeks. It's a very worrying situaion for those who are on them.
