Anyone else feel like they’ve lost the ability to cry? I get choked up and tears well but to really cry hard and uncontrollably like all the emotion is just too much to keep? It’s gone. I think I’ve been too let down, too disappointed. Perhaps too disconnected from myself and everything… I go numb now. I don’t know how to not give up

I listened to this song for the first time at 4 a.m., coming down from a dextromethorphan trip with a bunch of other stuff, my head turned back, looking out the window, a white rectangle in the darkness, cut by the branches of the trees. It was so magical, and I was going through a very difficult period in my life. It was so beautiful. And the lyrics were so true to what was happening at the time. Every line.
