What gets me is that she appeared to just give up. The performance was a mess. She could of at least tried to actually SING if she couldn't lip sync. At least try to actually SING. What she ended up doing made things worse. If she decided to actually sing and the vocals weren't all that great- trust me it would be far more better than what she ended up doing. . She made things worse for herself. AND THIS WOMAN IS SUPPOSE TO BE A PROFESSIONAL. WOW, SAD.

From what Mariah's saying, it seems like the monitors wasn't working. The monitors are in front of you on stage, and that's where Mariah should've been able to hear the back-track, the chorus etc. If she can't hear that, she has no idea where to start singing. And it gets impossible to hop back in the song. She tries to get the audience to sing so she can listen to them. Like she's saying - " she's trying to be a good sport". But she can't do anything really if the monitors aren't working. And monitors are superbasic at a gig. Like anywhere. Particularly at this event. Should've been flawless.
