Rock Immersion by Boushra Hello music friends ❤️ First of all allow me to apologize for a whole year of absence during which life forced me to put my passion for music on hold. I promise, I'm coming back soon with music-related content. This past year of a break has been needed as I had to seek a 9-5 job and put all my energy into it. I won't lie, putting music aside and working in a field that I don't love made me feel drained. I met with Jason from FEVER 333 (former Letlive singer) recently and something he said really triggered a fever in me. He said : if you can't let go of this passion and you keep having the fear that you might have abandoned it, then in one way or another it will come back and you'll find a way in which you express your passion. My relationship with music is in itself a whole story. I didn't grow up in an environment that celebrated music, especially not rock. For me music was a reason to fight, survive and escape a place where I couldn't fit. That's why I decided that I'm creating an Instagram page dedicated to celebrate music and share with you stories of music through it more frequently than on YouTube. The Instagram page is : @unorthodoxMusicBlog . There will be different formats for the content. Of course, the video content will be shared on YouTube as well. The content is being prepared, you can follow the page from now if you feel like showing support. Thank you to each one of you who've shown support and appreciation in the past 2 years. Chester Bennigton died on Chris Cornell's birthday. As a teenager Hybrid Theory and Audioslave with Like A Stone album both were what saved me through that awful time of bullying. It gave me hope that the misfits were represented and would one day get their spark back through music. Unbeknown to me they were giving me that spark of music to get through those daily struggles that probably gave me those feelings of hopelessness that the spark couldn't save Chester and Chris from. RIP. They gave me mine and still do. Beautiful souls that are still shaping our world even in death.

I LOVE "WITCHES BURN." Her voice is so awesome, the words so dark and real, and the music expressing all that perfectly. Love the story, did not know any of that. Thanks for sharing.

I actually got chills when you said Taylor is the face of Rock for this generation and I completely agree! I never thought about this until you said it but I think you are absolutely right!

i agree with you that seeing people like taylor momsen make me feel like rock music will never die, the beauty of this genre is being able to speak about what you feel in such an honest and passionate way at the same time. with that being said, my favorite song of the album is got so high, it's the one song that made me go back into listening to the pretty reckless again like i did when i was a teenager.

Still crying......i love her voice, the lyrics and the music and i'm so happy she's alive and i wish her and her band power to keep on going their live and passion. Thanx 4 sharing this info, i didn't knew it b4, so i really feel for her and i'm still crying coz of this sad story and i'm so so hard happy we still have her on this beautiful earth
