I will be travelling on SQ from Singapore to Salzburg with a layover of about 6 hours in Frankfurt and connecting on LH onwards Frankfurt to Salzburg. I am now wondering about if there is a need to collect my checked baggage at baggage claim, and self check in to drop off baggage onwards Salzburg, or do I go through passport control, security check and then to boarding gate? First trip is always an anxiety for me.
