As a Padre fan, obviously I’m stoked on the trade. But I also feel for the Marlin fans. It wasn’t long ago when SD was trading away players like Adrian Gonzales for pennies.

We are so bad as a franchise all we care about is losing and when we trade good players away for good prospects and when they get called up and do well boom there gone because ownership does not care about winning but only losing.

This is sad. There is no need for a rebuild. They had talent to make this team great. All they had to do was invest in a better bullpen. 2 established starters.
