Description
I have been gaming since the late 1980s. I doesn't matter to me if a game is old or new, just that it challenges me or teaches me something new. Gaming helps me improve my mental focus, reflexes, problem solving ability, situational awareness, and staying calm under stress!

CHANNEL UPDATES
I wasn't gaming at all during the 2024 calendar year, I needed to get some things in my life in order. I'm gaming again as of 2025, but not yet publicly streaming as my computer isn't properly set up for that. I don't have my second monitor and all my Linux streaming scripts decided to break during 2024 (due to Windows Updates and issues with my Linux Terminal).
Without a second monitor I can't read chat or check if my stream is running properly while live streaming. Because of this I have been streaming unlisted. Getting things set back up may take a while, as my chronic illness has been wiping out my energy level since mid-January (not sure what's changed, trying to figure it out and fix it).
So far this year I played Minecraft for 3 months. I recorded gameplay using ReplayMod, which can produce time-lapses or highlight videos. Not sure if I'll do anything with these recordings.
After that I tried out Noita Epilogue Update 1 & 2 (the two new updates during 2024). Because of my broken Linux scripts, these videos don't have my usual Death Counter, music, or overlays:

The past couple weeks I've been playing The Forest for the first time, it's been great. It's a tough survival game, and I play it with only one life to make it extra hard. I fixed my scripts before playing The Forest, so the quality is better:

I will be making these videos public over time, but if someone wanted to binge watch them, there they all are.
To Kay/Ronald Meeker: I replied to one of your messages, asking if you wanted to watch the unlisted streams when I play The Forest, but didn't hear back. It's stupid that YouTube no longer has Private Messages.

FIGHTING COMPUTERS INSTEAD OF ZOMBIES!
tl;dr -- I was forced to reinstall Windows, but things haven't gone smoothly. Currently busy reinstalling apps, importing old settings, and generally getting things working again. Should be streaming again soon.
My computer has run like trash since the last time I reinstalled Windows a couple years ago. At that time, I had mixed two brands of RAM to get to 48GB from 16GB. Thought maybe my system slowness and instability was from mixing RAM brands, so a few days ago I removed the slower RAM... but then the computer wasn't turning on, so I tried reseting my CMOS settings. Then I worked out that the RAM wasn't fully seated, so I took it out and tried again -- it was tricky installing it, jammed behind my gigantic CPU heatsink!
But after removing the RAM and resetting my CMOS, my PC cannot boot Windows anymore! When it gets to the part where it should show the Windows logo, it drops me into my BIOS/UEFI setup and asks for my password, as if I had pressed F2. Wtf? I thought it might be something to do with resetting the CMOS and losing my Secure Boot certificates or something like that, but I tried reinstalling Windows both with and without fresh Secure Boot keys, and it simply cannot boot after installing. If anyone has tips, let me know. Maybe the disk needs to be set bootable or something, but the Windows installer should have done that automatically. I dunno.
My BIOS can boot from USB just fine (Linux live systems and Windows install DVDs), but it just won't boot Windows from my M.2 SSD no matter what settings I change in my BIOS. I eventually found a USB ISO launcher called Ventoy that has a feature for "Search for Windows on local disk and boot it" and that boots my Windows 10 fine. But it's ridiculous needing to jump through hoops like that just to boot my computer! It's like my BIOS just gave up on booting Windows. Technology sucks! But it's also amazing...
Since reinstalling Windows I've spent days doing Windows Updates, reinstalling apps, and sorting through my multiple sets of backed up files. Getting everything set up perfectly the way I like. Also need to get my Windows Subsystem for Linux working again, with my old Ubuntu files so my Death Counter script works.
