It would be good if there was information about what you’re doing at each step; for those of us not accustomed to what you’re using; it’s hard to figure out what is happening; came out beautifully.

My mom worked for the company that made this, Landers Frary and Clark, New Britain, Ct. I just bought this exact one this week in a thrift shop, I will try and restore it also

Shot blasting is ok as long as it’s not steel shot. The paint is very questionable.

Well done you have done a great restoration job there the grinder you have there is for cooked meats, veg and breadcrumbs, I have one as well and tried to make sausage meat with it, I got there in the end but it was a bit of a struggle.

Don't actually use it though or you'll eat the paint chip infused meat you grind with it. It's a great job though.

Nice work but a show piece only after this type of restoration.

would be nice if he actually spoke each step, we all aren't experts, we all don't have the same equipment.

I left (cringing) when he blasted the cutter. Do you know how hard those are to sharpen?

It's not a restoration if it isn't functional. Painting the cutting surfaces? That makes it unusable, besides not sharpening the cutters.

So you took a working meat grinder, and turned it into wall art. Not a restoration.

How much do you charge? I want mine restored in exactly this same way.

This isn't a meat grinder but still good work.
