Iron Brigade was playing "The Campbells are Coming" as they marched through town on their way to the battle.

Ah, the Iron Brigade. my most favorite unit ever! And my most favorite march ever. (Though I also love Irish Brigade and Berdan's Sharpshooters.) I had the honor to lead the Iron Brigade in a Civil War computer game many times called "Second Battle of Manassas". ^_^

According to Rufus Dawes of the 6th Wisconsin they played “The Campbells are coming”
