There is a plot hole in the show "The Big Bang Theory" in the show it is shown that Sheldon cannot understand simple sarcasm, however in the prequel show "Young Sheldon" specifically on Season 3 Episode 1 from 12:56 to 13:06 it is shown Sheldon was capable of perfectly using sarcasm.
