The man said he's fine paying 10k, and you still wanted more. That's all I needed to hear. The fact that he got all the people he needed in order to correct any mistake he made and they STILL wanted to fine him shows nothing but greed.

This is a good example of how the general public is tired of these bureaucracies. Even someone who asked the proper authorities and complied with their protocols was still completely misled into paying $20,000.

In 1997 I paid a $250.00 fine in pennies at the Centreville MD town office for illegally using an "out of order" parking meter bag.
