the red midi cable (out of FL to in of the mpc) is all you need. fl is the master and the mpc the slave. if you hook a midi cable out of the moc to the in of FL you can make the mpc the master and send midi clock to FL, so that you press play on the mpc and the FL sequencer starts play in sync. that way FL should receive tempo info as well. if not, try MTC. no manual tempo adjustments needed.

Don't forget to add a blank ( choose an unused sound like a hihat to record in the downbeat and turn down the volume to 0 ) 2 bar sequence in front of the 92 bar sequence. This will allow you to automatically line up all sounds into the fl studio software.

What if I use 8 outs into my audio interface from the MPC

wish it was this easy on the MPCLIVE and FL12 via the MPC VST. Still trying to figure it out.
