Jessica Kellgren-Fozard Hello everyone, as some of you may know my lovely editor (& best friend) Clara and her wife, Evelina, had their baby at the start of the month! She came a little earlier than expected so we have been somewhat delayed in getting this month’s videos out. I have a wonderful temporary editor though who has managed to step in ahead of schedule. Weekly videos will be starting for 2026 on Wednesdays beginning this coming week. You can follow the adventures of baby Greta, her two mothers, and big brother Atlas on their Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/evelinaandc... . Hope you’ve all had a good start to 2026. See you in my next video! Xxx (12 days ago)

Jessica Kellgren-Fozard ✨ Happy New Year, everyone ✨ I hope you’ve all had a peaceful end to 2025. This past year has been a lot, so I wanted to say thank you all for your support one more time. If you missed any of our December videos, you can still catch up on the full Vlogmas playlist and join in on the festive celebrations https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... And for members, there’s a special extra video: a behind-the-scenes and bloopers from Vlogmas 2025! I’ll be taking a short break now, but we’ll see you again in January! Thank you again for being part of this community 💖 (3 weeks ago)

Jessica Kellgren-Fozard Surprise! 🎄 There’s one final Vlogmas video going live later today! We’re sitting down to share our unpopular Christmas opinions, the ones you’re probably not meant to say out loud, but might secretly agree with specially if you are a parent. Thank you so much for spending Vlogmas with us this year. Your support, kindness, and compassion throughout December has meant the world. See you in the new year! 💖 (1 month ago)

Jessica Kellgren-Fozard If you’ve also had a “what a year… wow” kind of year, you might want to watch this with a warm drink and a little time to yourself. It’s an honest sit-down about 2025, a bit of a recap but definitely not a linkedin motivational talk. Just a reflection on a year that didn’t fit into any tidy category: grief, change, growth, and becoming someone new without quite knowing how. I know not everyone will be having a perfect day today, so if you need a little pause, a cozy moment, or just some company, I’m here for you 🫂 (1 month ago)

I'm less concerned about why she doesn't sound deaf than I am about how she's a time traveler.
cacadehors (5 years ago)
As a stranger, her accent was so clear to hear. And she's deaf, what a irony.

You honestly sound like someone who would teach high English. It's so clear, soothing, and so perfectly spoken. You speak better than most people that I've heard.
erzebet6977 (5 years ago)
Your practice has paid off because I'm pretty sure you have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

Your practice has definitely not gone to waste. Your accent is beautiful and every word is crystal clear, I’d love to have your speaking voice.

My parents were deaf and it was always interesting to see people's reaction when they would communicate. My mother read lips and seldom used sign, whereas my father could not read lips and relied solely on sign. My mother's sister was also deaf (my aunt), and she read lips and never used sign. My mother could speak clearly and almost everyone just thought she was a foreigner speaking. My father and my aunt could not pronounce words correctly and it was obvious that they were deaf. One of many topics for the deaf community that I never really see anyone discuss, is the manner in which people sign. Growing up I would notice deaf people from New York would sign in a manner I would call hard and forceful, and deaf people from California always seemed to have a laid back, easy going manner of signing. A product of their environment I guess.
