New work requirements for SNAP are set to go into effect on Feb. 1 and it could mean that millions of Americans lose their benefits.
Nearly 42 million Americans, including low-income families and vulnerable households, rely on the federal program to help pay for groceries or other household essentials.
Under President Trump's megabill that was signed into law in July, work requirements were amended for certain Americans to receive benefits for more than three months over three years, which is the time limit.

The Hollywood community is mourning veteran actress Catherine O'Hara, who died at the age of 71.
Macaulay Culkin, who starred in "Home Alone" as Kevin McCallister, the son of O'Hara's character Kate McCallister, remembered his "mama" in an Instagram tribute.
"Mama. I thought we had time," Culkin wrote. "I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much more to say. I love you. I'll see you later."

Legendary actress Catherine O'Hara died Friday at age 71.
The Emmy Award winner was known best for her roles in beloved shows and films like "Schitt's Creek," "Beetlejuice" and "Home Alone." O'Hara's manager confirmed the news of her death Friday. Details surrounding her death are not known.
O'Hara first rose to widespread fame in 1988, starring as overdramatic artist and perfectionist Delia in "Beetlejuice" alongside Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder.

She is so mature for her age. She understands that the kids that make fun of her isn’t personal, it’s just because they’re to immature to understand. She is very outspoken and kind. My respect for her really reached its peak when she said that other kids have it way worse than her. Not many kids understand that. I see very bright things in her future.
