GTLivers! It’s Ash, and I’m actually not feeling super well today. Does anyone know what’s going on with all the sickness floating around!? …Anyway, because I want to be at the top of my game for the ACNH stream (and not saying “yowch! my back!” the whole time) we’re going to pause on streaming until Monday. But worry not! I’m not experiencing a drop of the hotel or dream islands until I get to do it with y’all.
In the meantime, I need y’all to PREPARE. You have to help me cultivate a scientifically perfect island. I’ve attached a key visual to give you a preview of what we’re working with. If you have any initial thoughts or suggestions of what to do with this, or even what this is, please leave it in the comments.

I just realized that “you won’t die” is one of the things Ennard says to you. I wonder if that is one of the things that was overlooked so Scott emphasized it in his next installment (having the line repeated over and over after Literal Purple Guy vomits up Ennard in the custom night update).

its interesting to note steph's and mat's different reactions to jumpscares. steph curls into herself, and down on the couch, and mat jumps up and away from the jumpscare

I thought of a theory that I haven't seen anyone say. What if Handunit (The robot AI that guides through the rooms) isn't actually there? What if it's just baby/ennard? If so, then when he tells you to run through ballora gallery, then baby tells you not to, it's baby trying to make you trust her. And in the fake ending when he says "Due to the sensitive nature of the information contained here, you will not be allowed to leave until 6 AM." That would suit ennard very well, having you not be able to leave while he kills you.

Steph’s “Hi Ennard” at 43:58 always sounds so adorable. It’s the half after fright, half “well that just happened” that makes it sound so gentle.
