Hey, just wanted to go ahead and say this incase anyone remembers what happened last year with my cats. I feel like it'd be quite shitty to post about it so much then and then not say anything when this happened.
Dusty sadly passed away 2 days before thanksgiving.
His breathing was labored, he was extremely dehydrated, and he had been going limp a lot and meowing all within a 5 day period.
We took action when we realized he wasn't just being weird and dramatic, so as sudden and overwhelming all this was considering the whole week and weekend we had just had, we did all we could to help him. We gave him water through a dropper, gave him chicken broth, and put him out of my cold room in his kennel on a heating pad, one of my shirts, and a towel he had been laying on. We had him like that for about 30 minutes to an hour, he got better for a bit and we thought he'd make it.
Then just as suddenly as he started getting better, he unfortunately had a seizure and passed away. Now don't get me wrong! He was peaceful, and around the people he wanted to be with.
May you rest in peace my sweet boy.
