what i love the MOST about Chappell is that she has so clearly studied the performers that have come before her i think that’s what makes her feel so timeless already. The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess is definitely an album that will shape our generation, i can FEEL it in my gay, little bones

ive been thinking for a while that she reminded me of early lady gaga. she has a strong image, writes her own music, uses her voice for her audience, connects with her audience in a pretty special, inviting way, and has an amazing stage presence. she isn't just being another pretty girl with a pretty voice. and now to see her perform this only cements that idea.

Concerts where everyone sings together like this just have an unparalleled sense of connection... It achieves that same sense of "man, I'm a living breathing person, sharing this beautiful world with other people" that you get during the most intimate moments with friends.
