I like how people are just so willing to charge in operations when a new sector opens up even if it's not strategically sound
you really made their screens blurry.

Dude might have not focused down and killed a ton of guys himself, but he broke the momentum of that assault. Wounding the other players forced them into cover to wait on med packs. Laying into their cover kept them fixed in place. This was a machinegunner's wet dream and he capitalized on it, and so did his teammates. I love BF1 for moments like this.

I've played over 48 hours of 2042 and have yet to get a singular moment like this.

How the fuck he survived that long is truly a miracle

This proves the herd mentality. Especially with the amazing sound designs. You hear the whistles, the battlecries and the drums, and the next thing you know, you're following everyone else into the fray.

The gun emplacements in bf1 were fucking amazing. Actually viable weapon to use and not just a gimic. The sound was awesome too

How didn't a sniper kill you after 10 seconds? :))

I never could figure out how to make the heavy MG fire accurately, but you seem to mostly get it. I love the sound of the gun going crazy lmao

This really goes to show how devastating machine guns are/were

LITERALLY what happened back then

I had a moment like this in Battlefront II once. Got eleven kills and scared everyone off the hillside before a tank finished me.

Damn, snipers and infiltrators really chill that round

And that's why you use smoke when pushing, really effective

Even if you didn't kill very many people, even just shooting at the horde and wounding some of them is enough to get most of them to keep their heads down, which makes it easier for your teammates to mop up. One of the things I think a lot of people overlook when using MMGs or playing Support is the power of suppressive fire. Not necessarily shooting to kill, but shooting to let the enemy know that you know they're over there and you might kill them if they leave cover.

One of the best multiplayer shooters ever made.
