this song is about a girl who is in love with a man that doesn't love her back. she thinks of herself as a "lovefool" because she'd rather live in some wild fantasy of him loving her instead of accepting the truth. he doesn't love her.

I was 11 when I first heard this song. My favorite song in Elementary school and was in Resource Class and also doing regular classes as a person in the Autism Spectrum.
