So can we all agreed that we quicksaved before killing him?

Apperently 99.9% of us quicksaved and killed him and saw if it changed something or not. Glad to be part of this community

I killed him the moment I finished the quest, his insolence was making my sword-arm twitch. I quicksaved and see if it makes a difference if you kill him. Apparently none so...

I did the same thing. The second he said "I bet you are hiding something in the college" I killed him.

If you don’t kill him the Sinod go to the college after quest is completed. Presume they and the Psjic Order both want to claim the Eye of Magnus.

Killed him with a pickaxe

I did this quest at level 8 and to me he was like a boss fight, I play on expert. He was summoning adronachs, using wards and all that jazz took about 5 minutes to beat him. I was a destruction conjuration illusion mage

Well I have to admit every answer this guy gives makes you wanna kill him. And i did lmfao. Well i am playing a evil High Elf..Do the Math. But even if you let him live and for argument sake he does report to his superiours. I sure would have liked to see him come back just to find out the Eye has been taken away. Totally doing the finger under the eye thing. Lehosehurrrrrrr lmao.

I checked his page on the wiki. Turns out if you spare him, a random encounter can happen where a bunch of Synod Mages will attack the college.
