Just fixed a grinding noise on a scag patriot...it was grinding yet when you turned it was pronounced. The problem was the hydro transmission mount bolts 1 came loose the other was missing. It caused a misalignment in the pulleys making a grinding noise... Breaking a belt previously, digging a small gouge in the whole for the idle arm spring, and causing a tension pulley to wobble and spring to bounce. On a scag the bolts are in front/under the hydro fans.

Anybody find the fix for this?
