Description
Hi! We are Rusty, Rachel and Momma. In 2023 we bought an abandoned farm and are now breathing life back into it one day at a time! We purchased the home, 20 acres and outbuildings. We are on a quest to be self sufficient and to become a full market farm, but first, we have to make it livable! Rachel’s Momma moved in with us and purchased a Tiny house. We will be remodeling it as well for our sweet little momma!
Come join us in our incredible, crazy, fun journey!

Robertson's Belly Acres HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE STRONGEST, MOST AMAZING WOMAN IN THE WORLD!! LOVE YOU MOMMA!! (4 months ago)

Robertson's Belly Acres In a remarkable turn of events, Momma successfully navigated her procedure, and the medical team made a fortunate discovery of a blockage, unrelated to her heart attack on Monday. They seamlessly implanted a stent, and it's a blessing that they were able to address this unexpected finding while she was already undergoing treatment. Although Momma experienced a heart attack on Monday, fortunately, it appears to have been stress-induced, likely triggered by the cumulative effects of her stroke on Saturday and blood pressure fluctuations. If she continues to progress well today, she'll be able to return home tomorrow, which is a testament to her strength and resilience. It was truly heartwarming to be reunited with my brothers, son, and their families, and Momma was enveloped in an outpouring of love and support from her loved ones. I'm grateful for the family members who were able to be there and acknowledge those who couldn't make it, knowing they would have been there if circumstances allowed. Momma's remarkable progress tonight is a shining beacon of hope and a reminder of the transformative power of love and family. (5 months ago (edited))

Robertson's Belly Acres After an incredibly stressful night, sitting in the bright waiting room as the morning sun was rising past the towering buildings outside, waiting to get back to the ICU room…I broke down. I don’t know why I was crying. Was I sad? Was I scared? Was it a combination of exhaustion, fear, anxiety? It was definitely a stress relief in the moment. I was by myself and I just couldn’t stop crying. As I was looking out that window in that empty waiting room early this morning, I looked down and there by the plant that was beside the window, I saw a card that had been dropped, or maybe it was “planted” but I picked it up and yall! My God is sooooo Good! When I needed a hug the most (I’m not a touchy feely person, especially during stressful situations) My God was there! He enveloped me in the warmest hug when I needed it the most. I put the card back in case someone else needed that little piece of solace in the future, went to the bathroom and washed my face and pulled myself together. My momma had a stroke on Saturday. We have been in the hospital since. Luckily, we got her to the hospital quickly. We did the test on her and she could raise her arms, smile and talk, she could stick her tongue out and her blood pressure was not even super high (for her), but the other symptoms were enough for us to take her in right away. It was a small stroke thank God but last night we had a big scare. They were having trouble getting her bp regulated and she began presenting like a cardiac event was happening. If you have never been in a room when a “Rapid Response Team” is called and they say the room number that you are in, and it’s about your loved one, yall, it is so scary! If you have been, I’m so sorry! It is stressful to say the least! Luckily, they were able to cancel the rapid response as Momma responded to Nitro almost instantly. They moved us to ICU. She is expected to move back to a regular room today as she is doing better and her bp is more stable. Prayers for our momma! We are all pulling together and I could not ask for a more supportive husband, kids, brothers and families! The outpouring of love and support is immeasurable! Please continue to pray.
