The Tournament is back!
Round 2 has officially concluded and there were some upsets! A lot of interesting matchups, and a lot of things I didn't expect based on my viewership.
For those just joining, we are running a tournament to discover YOUR favorite artists that I have covered here on the channel so far. The seeds were based on views per artist on my videos.

To be fair Taylor herself says that she’s writes songs that are generally easy for her to sing. She doesn’t belt a lot, but there is a lot of complexity in the way she sings with the changing cadence, breathy airy notes, deep notes, her style of talk singing and flow, even singing in a pocket. Don’t Blame Me is her biggest belting song.

I'm always so impressed by how musicians can just pull out these things from the music that I never would have noticed, can tell a note just by hearing it, and basically play a song on a first listen. My hat is off to you, sir!

"I Did Something Bad" Studio Version vs Reputation Tour next please! The changes she made on the live version makes it a completely different song in my opinion.

I wrote a paper in my phd program on people describing this performance as a religious experience utilizing the William James' theory on the varieties of religious experience. Spoiler: the descriptions of the performance meet the criteria.

I've seen a lot of singers say that they never gave Tay credit since her songs sound "easy", but when they actually try to sing them they find they are a lot harder to sing than you think! Great reaction :)

As a musician, there is one thing you may not know about that she does/did/still doing: She records herself as she creates her music. She released a bunch of these recordings for Reputation. They are on her channel, and they are called "The Making of a Song". When I saw them for the first time, my respect of her as a full on artist/genuius/savant increased exponentially. I do suggest you react to those next.

i think a cool comparison would be Cornelia Street studio version vs. Live in Paris. the production difference is huge, and i think you'd really appreciate her guitar playing and vocals in her live version.
