India has the longest written Constitution in the world and one of the most inclusive. But what we rarely talk about is the 15 women who helped shape it.
Out of the initial 389 members in the Constituent Assembly, women made up less than 4%, a reflection of the mass illiteracy, patriarchy, and social barriers that kept most women out of public life.
Yet these 15 trailblazers—Dakshayani Velayudhan, Hansa Mehta, Amrit Kaur, Sarojini Naidu, Sucheta Kriplani and others broke every rule society set for them. On a panel filled with towering leaders, these women still made their mark. It’s time we remember them.

Good to see her explain so logically without any drama or awkwardness. Good education on hymen. Many men are misled on hymen and virginity or female body. Good to see a doctor educate logically.
