Watching that live was scary. Ridley looked like his motor skills stopped functioning...like Roy Jones when he gets knocked out. Football players shouldn't end up like prizefighters. Hard to balance that element out. But Bernard Pollard basically cemented his title of Patriot Killer on this play.

My dad and i are both Cowboy fans and when we were watching this game the room was silent we thought he actually died

as a big pats fan and this being a big reason we lost, this hit hurt me. absolutely one of the most violent collision recored in sport. this play was even described by raven's coach harbarugh as "football at it's finest" & "just as good a tackle as your going to see in football"
