When you search for the pirate ship it helps a ton to go to the surface and look since underwater you can only see it from 10 feet away.

well i heard there is this one aquarium thats realy big its called the ocean or something like that but the chances of seeing one at an aquarium that big is slim to none

You can find the Blue Whale in the top north-west section of the map, in the area known as the Great Drop-Off.
