There are a lot of people who could sing this in a technically more proficient way but O'Hara sang it like an actor first and foremost, lending Sally an unpolished and raw voice. Consummate professional. RIP.

Rest in Peace, Catherine O'Hara :[ you sre sorely missed

This is the one song that truly stands out to me. When I read that the singer is Catherine O'hara and that she wasn't a "trained" singer, I realized why: she sounds very natural and fragile.

Gosh. I love how imperfect Sally's voice is, but at the same time so perfect.

This movie went into some deep emotional issues that I had no idea about when I was little. Basically, Sally and Jack felt that they had predetermined destinies. They wanted to create their own futures.

After Hearing the Passing of the Legendary Catherine O'Hara, i came back here once again. This film along with Home Alone were the two films that introduce me to her, along with many others like Beetlejuice etc. She was very wonderful playing as Sally, voice and singing, as well as Stock in nightmare before Christmas. Goodbye and thank you for the Childhood Memories Catherine.
