I speak Russian and could hear the hostile or sarcastic undertone in the reporter's voice. Mila picked up on that and handled it brilliantly.

When auditioning for that 70’s show she was asked if she was 18 and she said “I will be”... she was 14. She’s smart in two languages.

I mean obviously all the other reporters are having a good laugh at the reporter being put in her place by Mila. You can literally HEAR everyone cracking up.

I think most people are missing the point here. Mila is obviously fluent in Russian and all of its subtexts and nuances. She obviously picked something up in the way the question was asked that made the meaning very offensive. Something that even subtitles cannot convey.

can you guys not read the disrespect from the subtitles? reporter says "sometimes it's for the better, but why you Justin?" implying Justin shouldn't be acting.

I think many Russian speakers here ignore the fact that reporter also said "many people from showbiz become actors and it's not good for them". Like she's saying that those people are not good at this but they still act, so why, what for, that's clearly what she meant to say. She actually said "isn't music enough?" And when Mila asked "Why are you here?" reporter answered "I'm doing my job but he wants something else/another one". Right, it means she thinks he's being greedy. You can't defend that interviewer even if you agree with her cuz as she keeps asking she sounded more and more rude.
