Bruce Concerts and Studio Outtakes Hey, everyone! Just wanted to post here again and ask if anyone has any specific show/bootleg recommendations. I've got virtually every show that's in wide circulation from 1974 and 1975, and a good amount from '77 and '78. (3 years ago (edited))

Bruce Concerts and Studio Outtakes Any specific show requests? I have lots from 1973/4-1978, which is my favorite Bruce era. I might not have it, but feel free to drop suggestions! (3 years ago)

This is the best concert ever ,that violin my god.

In the early days, Suki Lahav's violin added a mercurial and emotional touch to this and other tunes. So much heart and soul.

The sirens going by on the street at the end of Incident on 57th Street are just legendary. It completes the intimacy of these recordings and truly puts you "in the room".

On call for work and struggling to relax ,hitting the penjamin and listening to two hours of Bruce will do the trick

The real hero of this gig is Gary Tallent. Holy fuck, he is on fire. I didn’t realise how much he was drowned out by all the added musicians and vocalists in the band today. This was E Street at its finest.

I still wonder why this was not released officially yet in the Springsteen LIVE series CD’s.

This is the greatest of all Springsteen bootlegs. (Milwaukee" bomb scare" a close 2nd. Both from the BTR tour.) This is a really clean version. Thanks for sharing!

If I could go back in time I would be 10K to be at this show. Sandy Wow. Jungleland Wow. Incident Wow. I want You Wow. And early versions of Thunder Road/BTR, She's the One. Gary's bass amazing. Max barely with the band excellent, the Sax, and wow the violin. Make it 20K.

First boot i ever bought, been listening since 1976. Single greatest performance of an incredible career. How you could be this good at 25 is incomprehensible. NYC is the best thing he’s ever done live. It’s like you’re there. And this was in front if a lucky couple of hundred people.

Did he ever have back to back greatness like this Kitty's Back into that NYC Serenade!!!???

That is BY FAR…the BEST BORN TO RUN …LIVE…I’ve EVER HEARD!!! Unbelievably GREAT in EVERY WAY. His SINGING is OUTSTANDING!!! Best I’ve EVER HEARD HIM SING IT. Just WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! I don’t know how I ever missed this! This is my Springsteen. The band is on FIRE!!! The arrangement is great for live and they are KILLIN IT!! Mind blown. I never thought I could hear him again and be surprised or that impressed. Just goes to show you. Main Point gigs always seem to have something special in his career…in virtually all the boots I’ve heard of him. Again I’m stunned by this recording.

Hard to believe actual people got to witness this live. I wonder if they knew in the moment how special it was.
